In general the oven and the PCB have thermal inertia. The inertia of the board depends on the size of the copper surface, the number of layers, solder mask colour, etc. In order to help our customers in achieving the best possible solder results, we have generated various solder profiles suitable for a large variety of boards. They are in the installation package. You can download the software from your account using the link in the upper right corner of your customer report

Following hereafter we try explain the functioning and impacts of these solder curves. Creating a special solder curve for each board is not feasible and also not necessary. Nevertheless, there are differences to be attended to.

 

We are confident that you will be able to use our profiles and instructions to create you own solder profiles when needed.

The picture shows a profile of a souble sided PCB ( single sided assembled) with a size of approx. 200 x 200 mm. It could be soldered easily.

The total cycle time until the drawer opened took approx. 8 minutes.
